Pendine Arts & Community Trust
A life, well lived, is enriched by our connections, family and friendships, fulfilled by lifelong learning, and supported by caring communities. Passionate about enriching lives across the generations, PACT (Pendine Arts & Community Trust) supports community and the arts, in all its glorious forms, champions the care sector and its heroes, and represents our commitment to society. People caring about people.

PACT encapsulates the very essence of sustaining our unique artistic language and creative culture in Wales by exploring innovative ways of artistic engagement for all.

During its early years, Pendine like many was involved in projects such as Live Music Now and Music in Hospitals, and in 1995 saw the appointment of a full time Artist in Residence to drive our enrichment strategy through the Arts and to support this initiative further, we also appointed our Musician in Residence in 2015.
Initially our main aim was to transform our residents experience and appreciation of music and the Arts to a point where they themselves, and their family members, saw a positive impact on well-being. But we also wanted to do more, both with our staff, within our wider communities and particularly within the social care sector. And so, we created PACT.

PACT is passionate about sponsoring and lending support to many incredible Arts organisations and projects, over the years we have been delighted to work collaboratively with Sir Bryn Terfel, Joseph Calleja, Welsh National Opera, Hallé Orchestra, North Wales International Music Festival, Llangollen International Music Eisteddfod, Canolfan Gerdd William Mathias, Only Boys Aloud and many other exceptionally talented and creative people. Bringing generations together, sharing a vision in vibrant settings and communities.
The Arts are the heart of everything we do. The true value of engaging with the Arts, in all its glorious forms, is beyond measure, giving meaning and fulfilment to people’s lives by actively supporting creativity within our communities and strengthening and enriching those communities. Encouraging the Arts to flourish, sparking ideas, making a difference, finding a voice and ultimately, transforming lives.
Inspiring moments. Inspiring people. Inspiring future generations.
The true value of engaging with the Arts, in all its glorious forms, is beyond measure, bringing meaning and fulfilment to people’s lives by actively supporting creativity within our communities.
